Who we are

ThroMedia (com.hauntedspacehotel.thromedia) is published on Google Play by Haunted Space Hotel Studios and on Apple's App Store by Fossa Tracks, Inc. (Apple Developer team FK4KBUZ99T). Haunted Space Hotel Studios is a registered fictitious business name of Fossa Tracks, Inc., a California corporation, which is the legal entity behind the app, this website and this policy.

The short version

  • No accounts. You never sign up, sign in or give us an email address to use the app.
  • No ads, no advertising ID, and no analytics or tracking code, in the app or on this website.
  • We do not collect, sell or share personal information.
  • Anything you buy in the app is bought through Apple or Google. We never see your card or your name.

What stays on your device

Your place in each book, your bookmarks, highlights and notes, and your settings are kept on your device and are never sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them.

What the app sends over the internet

Nothing to us. This version of ThroMedia carries its chapters inside the app: the text, the audio and the page images are installed with it and checked against the catalogue's fingerprint before the app uses them. The app does not contact our servers, does not search your local network, and sends nothing about you or your device to anyone. The only connections it can cause are the App Store's or Google Play's own, when you install or update it.

If a later version fetches books from our servers, this page will say so, with the date, before that version is released.

Purchases

When the app sells something, it is sold as an in-app purchase through the App Store or Google Play, under Apple's or Google's terms and privacy policies. They take the payment and tell the app what you own; restoring a purchase on a new device goes through the same store account. We receive no payment details and keep no list of buyers.

Children

ThroMedia is made for readers 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and since it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

This website

thromedia.com is static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties; its fonts are served from this site. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver them.
